Mort Snyder

Mort Snyder Jr. has been identified as the lead suspect in two sexual assaults that took place in 1996 in Layton, Utah and in 1986 in Okaloosa Island, Florida. The two cases were linked through DNA profiles obtained from the victims’ sexual assault kits, but there were no hits to a suspect in law enforcement databases.

There is currently no information on who performed the FGG investigation. The case was cleared by exception, as Snyder passed away in southern Carolina in 2015. He had lived in both areas at the time of the assaults.
