Seth Kinderman, 25, was sentenced on July 1, 2022 for the December 20, 2016 murder of 34-year-old Jakeith Latham in Claymont, Delaware.
Investigators say that Kinderman had arranged a meeting to sell Latham diabetic test strips where he shot him. Latham’s body was found on the sidewalk near the 1000 block of Linda Road. He had been killed by a gunshot wound to his upper body. Kinderman then attempted to discard and burn Latham’s vehicle.

Kinderman was charged on December 5, 2018. He pled guilty to second-degree murder, attempted robbery, and possession of a firearm. He was sentenced on July 1, 2022 in New Castle County Superior Court to 38 years in prison.
